PPSC or Punjab Public Service Commission is basically a government testing body that conducts highly competitive and tough exams that are held each year in the province of Punjab. The main goal of organizing and conducting this test is to find the most talented and deserving candidate for numerous government sector vacancies like, SP, SSP, etc. Each province has their own Public Service Commission exam and their patterns differ from province to province.

Many people take the PPSC exam each year but only few gets selected because of the tough paper pattern and interview process. Mostly, half of the people successfully completes the written exam but fails in the PPSC interview session.

There’s also age limit for appearing in the PPSC exam and that is as follow; 18 or below but not above 37 years of age. However, the age factor can be taken lightly if you are a Widow, Divorcee, Physically Handicapped, etc.

You don’t usually require any higher education degrees like post-graduation, masters, P.hD, etc. You can appear in an exam even if you are just a Matric pass student whose age is above 18 years. The high degrees don’t play their part here but your knowledge sure will!

The PPSC exam is divided into two main parts. A preliminary exam and a main exam which is then later followed by an interview session. Both section carries equal marks, which is 100 marks. Most of the written exam shall revolve around our country’s history and geography. So, make sure to gather all the PST and Geography books you can find laying around your home.
